I'm Lauren and I am a New Orleans based newborn and baby photographer.

 

My love of photography started when I was in high school and it was then that I realized my dream of being a professional photographer one day. As for my love of babies...well, that's been a part of me for as long as I can remember. So I guess it just makes sense that I would end up in this awesome industry! I consider myself so lucky to have my dream job and that I get to meet all of these precious new souls. 

 

Creating photographs that can be handed down from generation to generation is my goal in every session. I love incorporating bold, beautiful colors into my sessions as well as soft pastels. I strive to capture all of the little details like those pouty little lips, tiny fingers and toes, sweet eyelashes, and squishy baby rolls. They don't stay this little for long so let's capture these precious memories of your sweet new addition.

I graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2013 with a BA focused in Fine Art Photography. Once out of college I started second shooting weddings and this is where I gained most of my knowledge about digital photography. While I love second shooting weddings (and I still do) I've always known that my true passion was newborn and baby photography.

My loves outside of photography include my wonderful and supportive fiancee Josh and our mischievous naked cat, Briggsby Theodore. I love working with my hands, so I've taught myself how to knit, crochet, and dye my own yarn. This allows me to make many of my own props, which I enjoy oh so much! I am also a sweets loving, scary story reading, grower of succulents.
